About us

Hey there!

If we haven’t met, I’m Sarah—a follower of Jesus, wife, boy mom, coffee lover, hiking enthusiast, writer, and podcaster with a heart for helping women grow closer to God and prepare for a godly, lasting marriage. Join me as we explore faith, purpose, relationships, and the journey to a Christ-centered life!

In 2020, during the Covid lockdowns, I began blogging out of a desire to encourage other young women in their relationship with God. Recently, I also began a YouTube channel to share what I’ve been learning from scripture.

I’m far from perfect, but I’ve realized that progress, not perfection, is the goal (Philippians 3:12-16). So I look forward to continuing to learn and grow even as I endeavor to encourage others with what I’ve learned.

I know what it's like to struggle...

For years, I struggled to understand God’s will for my life. It felt like a giant mystery I had to solve. But more than that, it felt like an escape room where you only have a small amount of time to solve each puzzle, otherwise you lose the game. I often saw God as the gamemaster, who expected me to discover and decipher clues and hurry to accomplish His will.

Thank God, I was wrong. I completely misunderstood who God is and what He expected of me. As I studied the scriptures, went through hours of biblical counselling and life coaching, and sought the Lord, He heard and helped me. I’ve discovered the peace and confidence that comes from trusting God, even when we can’t see the whole big picture of what’s happening.

So, if you’re anything like me and want to know more about who God is, what He calls us to do, and how to live a fruitful and faith-filled life, I’m so glad you’re here!!

Let’s go on this journey of faith together!

Your sister in Christ,

Sarah McClelland

Host of Her Journey with God

“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

Colossians 1:9-14
